This series of events between Lorelai and Rory continues to irk me. The whole thing always rubbed me as very out-of-character. Though both Lorelai and Rory were very capable and in-character to act immature in the situation where Rory dropped out of Yale, I find it really difficult to believe they would interrupt the baptism to have a fight. They love Sookie too much for that.
In, ‘Always a Godmother, Never a God,’ Lorelai tried to call Rory only to find her number disconnected (which we later learn is because Rory lost her phone). Kind of like how when Rory tried to apologize and instead found out Lorelai was engaged, it just made her more mad. So, when Sookie asks both Rory and Lorelai to be godmothers to her children, they can’t back out because of their fight - they love Sookie too much for that.
Rory seems to do better through the baptism than Lorelai does. Lorelai is distracted, wondering if she’s the only one without Rory’s new phone number. So distracted, Lorelai asks the Reverend for a moment and drags Rory, with the babies, outside to ask why she doesn’t have her phone number. Rory seems embarrassed about interrupting the service, but Lorelai isn’t.
Sookie later says she’s not mad at Lorelai for disrupting the service. She feels guilty for setting up Rory and Lorelai the way she did, which is way beyond what Lorelai deserves for her breakdown I think. But Sookie’s a great friend. Anyway, when Rory tries to apologize to Lorelai and to give her her number, Lorelai turns her away. Again, immature. Where’s all this coming from? Lorelai had to learn very quickly to grow up when she left home with baby Rory, so all this seems over-the-top, don’t you think?
Lauren Graham will be making an appearance on the new Late Night with Jimmy Falon show on NBC on Saturday, April 4th (I’ve also read April 3rd). There’s no word yet on what she’ll be promoting.
Meanwhile, Lauren Graham’s new ABC pilot, The Bridget Show, has a bunch of news! First off, the production for the pilot will begin filming this April in Los Angeles! In addition, Barry Sonnenfeld (Pushing Daisies) has signed on to direct the new sitcom, with Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development) as the latest star to land a role in the series.
Since Lauren Graham will be filming the pilot for The Bridget Show in early April, it is expected that she will not be performing as Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls for certain dates. Tickets can be exchanged or refunded if you had those dates. More info here.
Former “Gilmore Girls” star, Alexis Bledel, is chosen to guest-star on the series finale of NBC’s “ER“, People reported. The final episode, which will be broadcast on April 2, sets the 27-year-old beauty in the role as Dr. Julia Wise, a new intern at County General.
Bledel joins several stars for the medical drama’s farewell season, who will reprise their roles in the March 12 episode, including George Clooney as Doug and Julianna Margulies as Carol. Rumor has it, Susan Sarandon will also star as a patient’s grandmother.
“ER” is an American medical drama which is mainly shot in the emergency room of fictional County General Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. It was created by the late novelist, Michael Crichton. The TV series, that was run on NBC since September 19, 1994, has produced more than 300 episodes so far.
Keiko Agena (Lane Kim on Gilmore Girls) is best known to us as a drummer. After all, she spent 7 years drumming on Gilmore Girls. When the series ended, Keiko admitted that she had gotten “really lazy” with her drumming. However, that doesn’t mean that Keiko has dropped all musical pursuits!
Keiko Agena also plays the bass and can be seen as part of the ensemble Boo Boo Kitty. According to the band’s MySpace, we should now call Keiko “K-BOO”

Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham will star in a new comedy at ABC, in which she will play a self-help guru who teaches women how to live a stress-free life — but struggles to follow her own advice when her boyfriend dumps her.
According to Variety, the untitled half-hour comes from scribe Alex Herschlag (Will & Grace).
The new comedy represents a reunion between Graham and ABC. The actress got her big break on the Alphabet net starring opposite Molly Ringwald and Jenna Elfman in the short-lived Townies.
Danny Strong, who played Doyle on Gilmore Girls, has received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Dramatic Special. The nomination was related to his HBO original movie, Recount.
In addition to Danny Strong’s writing nomination, Recount received several other Emmy nominations:

On tr’s dayhis Mothe, I had to gift something special to my mother which has to be touchy as well as a pleasant surprise for my mom. You know what i gifted to my hemotr? It was a combo gift. I bs for me? I knew that I’llought a Gilmore Girls DVD for mom; she was so surprised and asked in joy, you brought thi get it as my mom was absolute Gilmore girls freak at the time when it was on air. But unfortunately it came to an end in 2007. I know my mom misses it.
We had several arguments and had many fights due to this show, because my mom was never ready to miss this show, and she never let me watch my favorite shows, when it’s on screen. So we used to throw sharp comments and teases for each other due to this show. Ah but that was also a nice time, so for Mother’s day I decided to bring that time back and recall the old memories. I can never forget her expression as she jumped with joy and hugged me.
Hey I forgot I told in the beginning that it was a combo gift. So the other part of gift was I told my mom about this site that she can watch any episode of this show and other shows too which are now off screen, on this site, whenever she wants. Well this one was for my purpose after all she will now leave TV for me and will remain busy on her laptop watching Gilmore Girls and without fighting with me. Hey but to be very honest, I was also watching Gilmore girls from the beginning, and this is a good show.
Although, the storyline is based upon a single mother but Rory was dominating the whole first season. I loved that episode where Rory invites her boy friend on Friday night dinner with her grand parents and they interview him in their strict way. Moreover lovers list of both Mom and daughter is really notable. Now too, mom is in market so I am gonna download that episode from here. Catch you later.
Today, I was free early than the usual and then I moved to the beach side along with my lap top. There were not much people around so I just settled down on a nice place, soaked a cane of juice and had some cookies until the silence around started troubling me. Today I was not in the mood to go back to my apartment and to watch the comedy series or dramas anymore. So I just switched on my laptop and started surfing on internet and I just saw some nice pictures of a lady on a celebrity images site. Oh my God I have seen this picture before, and it was Lauren Graham, the lady from Gilmore girls. It reminded me of the show which ended up in the May last year. I remember I was very fond of the show. it was a serious kind of drama series, I least like the drama but I really loved its plot.
Well let’s come back to that lady in pictures. She was playing Lorelai Victoria Gilmore, the caring and worried mother of Rory. She played as teenage mother of Rory and I think according to the age of the character she was the right choice by the show producers. I have seen her in Law and Orders too as Hollywood film producer, but I liked her more in the role of a mother in trouble. Her arguments with her parents on the Friday night dinners and in the episodes where she agrees to accept all of her parent’s conditions to support Rory’s education, all was her recommendable performance.
And why not, Gilmore Girls is an Emmy award winner show. In her pictures she looks gorgeous in red color as well as in light blue. I have read somewhere that she is now working in movies. I am sure she will create a sensation there also. I really miss the gorgeous Lauren.

While many television series take time to lay down a foundation and ease the viewer into the story line, characters and concepts, Gilmore Girls takes a different tack. In season one, the background is certainly explained, but the fast-as-a-whip dialogue takes off from minute one and never eases up. Unless you are used to the Gilmore girls’ way of speaking (but really, how could you be?), the first few episodes are a little disorienting. As soon as you become accustomed to the speech and mile-a-minute pop culture references, you’ll discover that this show is unlike any other. 
Lorelai Gilmore, though born into privilege in Hartford, Conn., now lives with her daughter in the small town of Stars Hollow. She moved away from her family after having a baby at 16, and raised Rory (short for Lorelai) by herself for the last 16 years. Rory’s dream is to get into Harvard, and Lorelai knows that unless Rory attends a top high school, her chances of acceptance are slim. So, she enrolls Rory in Chilton Academy, and just into her sophomore year, Rory is accepted. However, Lorelai can’t afford to send Rory to Chilton without any help.
She enlists her parents to cover tuition, and their only stipulation is a Friday night dinner every week to keep up with the girls’ lives. The relationship with Lorelai’s parents is strained at best, but she agrees to the condition. Despite the mother-daughter aspect of Rory and Lorelai’s relationship, they seem more like friends, and often refer to one another as their best friend.
The first season starts out a little shaky, with peripheral characters not completely defined (or randomly showing up as someone else entirely) and some of the back story not filled in. However, Lauren Graham (as Lorelai), exudes a perfect mix of comedy and drama. Alexis Bledel, though unsure at first and not entirely on, takes on the role of Rory more comfortably as the season continues. By the end, you feel a part of their lives and can’t wait to see where the Gilmore girls will take you next.
