After sixteen years, she enjoys a warm relationship with her daughter.

They are each other’s best friend in the world. Mother & daughter share the same interests, the same intellect, the same coffee addiction, and specially the same eyes. Rory is more serious than her mother but there are some tendencies that favors that she is her mother’s daughter. Lorelai also has to contend with her parents who think they know what’s best for Rory and Lorelai.
